all wheel drive wagons ...

ok, my friend is looking for an all wheel drive car, but something that holds a lot of luggage, like a wagon or suv (or even a car, if it has LOTS of luggage space).

besides chevy trailblazer and subaru wrx wagon and outback, what other ones are there?

THere is the Forester, comes in the XT model now, you can even get the STI one. I don't know if BMW is still making the 5 series in Wagon, I doubt it. THey used to have the 540 in a wagon. Your selection is limited.

o man, nice call w/ the audi!!!
although that one may be out of the price range (like the m5, which is sick as fuck), you guys have any idea what is the base price of the brand new a3?? I've been looking everywhere, and can't find any type of estimate.

well, actually, there's no price range....my friend's pops is pretty loaded, and lives in india, and just told his son to get a car. But, i guess most of everything he's looking at would be around 25k, mabye a bit more (so i guess i would say range of 30k, tops).

any other suggestions?? I'm open to everything, probably on monday we'll hit up the auto mall and test out everything that's suggested and seems a likely candidate.

Only the six cylinder versions came in AWD drive though. And the 540 wagon with a 5 speed is more rare than a Z8.

Honestly, the first thing I thought about when I read the title of this thread was ''S4 Avant.'' Tell your friend to find a used '04 in Negaro Blue and call it a day. It's a truly beautiful car.

I have an old issue of Motor Trend from about a year ago with the SUV preview for the year, and they had the Outlander in there. The Pros were ''at least you won't have trouble finding yours in the parking lot'' and the Cons were, among other things, small motor, terrible interior and other crap. I'd have to say no.

What exactly is your price range? Subarus and Benzes are in totally different price ranges.
