Aftermarket Navigation
-Are you open to PDA based navigation? http://www.aximsite.com/ is a very good resource for that.
-Other than that http://www.garmin.com/mobile/ is another good one.
-I believe Pioneer has some good in-dash navigation/DVD systems
I would personally go with the PDA based navigation as it offers maximum flexibility.

As the wife and I decided against trading our minivan (aversion to car payments), we just bought the Pioneer AVIC-D1 for our 00 Quest. Stay tuned for a product review once I have it installed.
We also have a Garmin Street Pilot III; it's not the most advanced system but it's simple to use and you cant beat its portability.

I got a garmin gps 60c for my brother, tried it out just driving around town and it mapped everything, that was after buying the map to go with it. Was actually pretty cool as I was tracked. He does a lot of driiving to new places for work, I myself would find no use for it.
I bought through http://www.gpsnow.com, they have some great deals at any point.
