thanks. Originally, I was after a RX350 but that sold. So I went for this one instead. For a 2.5 litre, it hauls decently. I am not into horsepower. Has Nav and has airconditioned seats. LOL! I am going up in the World.

My mother got one of the new CTS's in January, and it has the air conditioned seats.

I think it should be re-named "minty butt". It's a rather odd feeling. It's works. Just weird. Lol.

Good choice! I've driven an is350 a few times, jumping back in my own car blows.

Nice pickup. How is the AWD? Handle well when you sense some slip? Is it a front centric type or symmetrical? I'm not into Toyota / Lexus, just wondering.

LOL! I have no clue. Just got it yesterday and have hardly put any miles on it. The tires have real low side walls and worries me some. Power and handling is fine. I was worried about a 2.5 but I am not a speester and coming from the Camry, it is plenty powerful enough. The IS350 does not come in AWD, so it was a choice of a IS250.

The IS is about the same, maybe slightly slower than a TSX. Not a speed demon by any means, but a nice car nonetheless. Congrats. Nice color, too.

From my experience thus far (only have 10k on the F), it has been actually cheaper than what the Acura dealership tried to charge me in the past for the CL (before I started doing everything myself).

The 250 is a super smooth ride. I thoroughly enjoyed mine for the 8-9 mo.'s i leased. Only thing I hated was the lack of sportiness. Aside from that, one of the finest sedans on the market.

Congrats on the ride. clublexus.com is the only forum i would recommend, it is a very big IS forum with a great deal of knowledge. my.is is slow and more geared towards the older IS300.

any questions feel free to ask.

btw matador red is a very nice color.

this is my complaint also with the car however i solved this issue. drop in some F-sport springs and upgrade the rear sway bar...trust me it'll handle very very good after this and still ride very nicely.

my next move maybe an IS-F next year.

the 250 isn't a speedster and sometimes i am wanting more, however for around time and to get up to speed on the highway it is pretty good power wise. i do wish however it did have another 50hp..

i wish i could have gotten a 350 with awd...but it doens't come like that and i settled for the 250 with awd since i needed it.

if you have on the stock dunlops, they do not last long at all and this car is notorious for going through tires quickly. i went with yoko's and they have lasted much longer the the stock tires.
