Admit you're full of SH*T! Mods you'll "never" do...

So it was recently brought to my attention that I have recently done a few mods to my car that I have previously damned (either on AZ, in person, or in my head). Decided it would be a fun thread to start.

I'll start, here's my list (off the top of my head) of mods that I said I'd never do and have done:
Thanks bud...RV6 True Dual.

Ok, I'll NEVER:
get visors
lower the car more than aspec
get rims
put a sound system in
rear sway bar
intake
jpipe
primaries
exhaust
camber kits
short shifter
shift knob
go spoilerless
put the spoiler back on
change my type s tails
change my base reds
change my smoked tails
clear my headlights
install switchbacks
do the blinking sidemarkers
install CCFL's license plate lights
reverse HID's (I reverted)
wrap vinyl on my center console side sills
reconnect and pay for XM (weak)
pay for WORK lugs to match
REOPEN my headlights and put in ZKW...

That's all for now, I'll add more as it comes to me.

I'd never thought I'd spend so much on tires lasting for only a year.

So wait, are we admitting to mods we want to do but never really will, or are we admitting to things we say we won't but actually will?

I will never get wheels.

Are you trying to be sneaky posting your list of mods?

I think he's saying post the mods you thought you'd never do, but actually did.

Aftermarket audio on my RSX.

just so happened that my second RSX came with a Kenwood touch screen with satnav. but only the front speakers worked. Got the rear speakers and original Bose sub from previous RSX to work.

You named the thread wrong then. It should have been, "HYPOCRITES! Ramble Here..."

I find, in life, the ones that refuse to admit they're full of sh*t, are usually the ones that are the MOST full of sh*t. Glad to see that translates onto the interwebz...

I said I would keep my daily driver to only wheels, suspension, and exhaust. It didn't happen.

2 years ago I said I wouldn't lower my car, get wheels and do very light engine work ..

Now ...

I have lightweight wheels, sway bar, coilovers, nearly full bolt ons, tints and upgraded brakes.

ohh lawd.

I keep saying I'm going to sell the BMW and yet haven't because it keeps needing stuff in order to sell it.

Does that count?

Why do some get the concept of the thread, and others think it's stupid. Great, now I confirmed that I'm NOT only NOT the cool rockstar, but also the dumb one.

I'm definitely full of it. See sig for current mods lol. No drop and mostly all engine.

I said I liked things how they were, and that I just needed to accept it.

Then I got a sex change.

Switchbacks, slammed suspension, puddle lights are the only ones on my list.

Mods that I definitely will never do, so if I ever do, please call me out on it: "aftermarket" tow hook, illuminated "A" emblems, any bulbs bluer than 6k, angel eyes, LED strips in headlights, PLASTIDIP (on anything).

I remember two big one. First, when the 5th gen Prelude first came out, I said those big headlights were fugly and didn't match the car. A year later, I bought one.

Second one was when Audi released pictures of the B7 A4 with the big grill, I said that the grill was fugly and completely ruined the car. A year later, I bought one, and now I'm in a B8 S4 with similar big grill.

Yeah...I'm full of sh!t, twice!!!

Clearly that didn't happen.

So Tyler, you got tintS then?

Spade, fk...that's right, you're the guy I drove past at the last mini meet and ended up all by yourself. Sorry about that, man. We should set something up soon. We can talk each other into a whole slew of mods we never thought we'd do!

I'm one of those people you hate then. I never say "tints". My windows are tinted; they have TINT.
