Cool Nice...

Both rides are

The A8, especially the 03-06 have been favorites. The interior is impeccable. And screw resale, the idea is to keep it for a lot of years. Nice pick up.

And what else is there to say about an 03 M5? Um, try a Dinan mod. I think they offer the best mods on those model M5's. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.....

So how do you like the M? How many miles, etc? There is a used stealership in town with an 02 with ~40k on it priced in the high 20's...thinking about trading the Civic in...

First things first, get rid of that wheel gap! Here is my friends M5...for what its worth, he used to walk just about any car that went up against him. He has Dinan CF intakes, headers, exhaust, reflash and a bunch of other stuff....it really screams.

I'm really liking the M so far. It pulls very hard(feels the same as my old chipped 335i), is very comfortable which is a big plus for me and is tail happy. I've always wanted to have a daily V8 for quite some time now. There is an incredible amount of torque from down low almost all the way up to redline just like the 335. The exhaust note is throaty enough for my ears but silent when asked.(Maybe an aftermarket exhaust system later) I bought this one with about 56,000 kms on it from it's first owner. I would suggest you go for a test drive to have a better idea of the vehicle. Brakes are excellent, they're more firm and agressive then the 335 ones. She's a keeper

I'm not liking this new one much anyways. Might as well put the old shifter back. The only reason I had taken it off is that I felt it was too long for my taste.

JJaber, I don't think I'll be modding the car. Tint, aftermarket exhaust system, radar and that's all I want and need. Daily driver not speed demon .(Already fast enough for me)

It's always been hard for me to keep it under the speed limit, I've always been a little heavy-footed. I don't drive like a pimpled-hat-turned-backwards hatchback civic driver but I tend to have my moments with the right pedal sometimes. I should have gotten a 323i

Thanks Fib!

If you had a 323i, you would be wishing for more power. I know you said you don't need the speed, but it's better to have the power than not.

Maybe, I could mod it in the future, I just don't see it happening now.No. Originally I was going to order the 335xi and drive my truck. Then we bought an A8 to wait for the bimmer to be delivered. We liked it, kept it. Picked up an M5 after as a DD.

Life must be rough if an M5 is your daily driver

Hope all of them stay in good shape. Congrats

Thanks, it's definitely a sweet ride, comparable to the one of the MDX. It's a blue 08'EX-L! I payed 25k out the door with 7k on the odometer.

M5 and the truck...between those 2 you have enough power to out run and out pull any of us. Good luck with the mini van...the Oddysey is surprisingly peppy.

Isn't MSRP on the EX-L around 40K up here? You got a hell of a deal.

I bought it the day I saw it on Autotrader. Equipped the way I have it, it's 50k in Canada. I'm bringing it back.

Welcome to exile in Oddyville - will probably join the club in a few years after we aclimate to numero uno and add numero dos. Hopefully the next gen will add an AWD option.

congrats on your truck and minivan.

What's the gas milage on that bad ass trunk? Funny thing is, exact same truck drove by me today, and got me think how bad the gas milage on that thing would be.

Those wheels make the Oddy look far more frumpy than it really is ... I suggest 18s and 19s staggered

That's a hell of a deal though

Thanks, I don't really recall the gas mileage on the truck right now, it's been almost a month last time I drove it. It wasn't very good though, around 16 with a heavy foot.

I want to replace them with the MDX Sport wheels but again it's my wife who will be driving it so modding a van seems silly for her. The deal was pretty good. Now I know to buy at the last day of the month.
