I was talking to a friend,technician at my local Acura dealership and he told me the 2004 TL wil have 280 hp.He swears this is true.Have I missed a post of this? He Says its a all new TL.

 

still will not be competitve ... performance wise.. unless it is underated...

It's easy to get 20 hp from the factory. What is the torque increase; if any?

Hey, how's this theory? The 2003 CL will roll over to a 2004 model in March, but with the new 280 HP engine for the S. In the fall, a new CL will be introduced as a 2005 model with that 280 HP engine for the premium and the S gets a more powerful engine. If they have plans to continue with the CL, this theory isn't far fetched. As for me...I'm dreaming of a convertable.

Yup... there have been many, many posts about this... feel free to do a search. The rumor has also been that the TL-S will have 280hp.... but no offical announcements of any kind have been made....
