Acura RL A-SPEC Concept

Today many manufacturers in the near-luxury and luxury market have a performance arm that provides visual and mechanical upgrades that are available off the showroom floor. For Acura, A-SPEC fills the bill. At this year’s Chicago Auto Show, you’ll be able to see the A-Spec Concept based on the newly- introduced 2005 RL sedan. We’re into visuals, suspension and wheel/tire upgrades here. A redone, sloping front clip, fender flares, redone rocker panels, 20-inch alloy wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 245/40 R20 rubber get your attention and a new rear spoiler and restyled rear bumper finish it off. Mechanicals include revised performance suspension, 8-piston Brembo brakes and drilled rotors all help you communicate with the road and vise-versa. Inside the concept combines premium leather, a two-tone headliner and wood steering wheel and shift knob trim.
