Is Acura the only luxury Japanese car maker to not have push button start ?

They shouldn't. It's one of those things the dealer should explain upon delivery of the vehicle, but most dealers aren't well versed enough to do a good job with that.

Slightly off-topic. The JDM Civic, Accord(TSX) and Inspire(Our Accord) all have optional keyless entry system avaliable.

I wonder why they don't offer those in our markets...

oh, and to answer the question (see thread title)...

YES...it appears that Acura is the only luxury japanese maker with keyless ignition WITHOUT pushbutton start.
