Acura NSX will be... gone?
I was at the Acura dealership today and they had a silver NSX in the showroom for the first time I can recall. There was a salesman there as I was eyeing it up pretty good. I was thinking of getting it in a couple years. He told me this was the last production of it as they are "getting rid of it and producing something with more horespower and in a convertible." I don't know but I love the NSX. The rear end looks like a true exotic... low and wide.

probably concept HSC will be the next NSX.

What are you talking about? In November Honda/Acura sold more NSX's (9) than they did Insight hybrids (5).
Ha Ha....
The dealer is probably right. The latest rumors are that Honda/Acura will not replace the NSX, but invest the $$ in a new luxury coupe/convertible comparable to offerings from Lexus, BMW and MB.

That's the second thing I was informed by someone with less credentials. But I think Honda would put their neck on the line by putting the HSC in the states, as it is a $90,000 Acura is still ultimately considered by the generic public in a sence... "its still a honda!"

It's not like he's saying anything new. Of course a new NSX will have more HP...what new car comes with less hp than the car it replaces...
