Acura Military Appreciation Offer
Acura is currently offering a $750 discount towards any 2014+ Acura when financed/leased through Acura Financial Services. A few questions regarding this:
1) Can the dealer choose not to offer this discount?
2) Is this discount coming out of Acura's "pocket" or the dealers? In other words, if the dealer offers this discount, do they receive a $750 back from Acura?
Thanks!

2) Typically in the auto industry, discounts are not reimbursed by the manufacturer. Basically, the dealer has to "eat it," which is why they may want to opt out, especially with high demand vehicles. Rebates and incentives are reimbursed to the dealer by the manufacturer. Here again, I'm not sure how Acura or even Honda handle these specifically.
