Acura dealer...
Acura dealer...
For the past 4 years I have been going to Ed Voyles Acura instead of Acura Carland, because Ed Voyles has always given me better service then Carland. In fact, I drove 15 miles away to go to Voyles instead of Carland which is only 4 miles away.
Since I have gone there, they would always wash my car eventhough I have asked them repeatedly NOT to do so. This happened at least 4 times and everytime it happened, I ended up with swirl marks and spider webs all over my fcar, and I would have to pay my detail guy $50 to get them out. The 4th time it happened, I talked to the service manager and he said from now on he would assign me a specific service advisor and would put in my file in big letters to not wash my car.
All was fine until I take it in again earlier this week for a clicking sound and some recall fixes. Anyway I go to get my car the next day and I see that it is over by the porters. I walk over there and unfortunately, it was already washed, and yes swirl marks AGAIN all over my car. When I get back to work, I talk to my service advisor about the issue and he says he would get the manager to call me back, but he never does. So I finally call the manager myself and he agreed that they weren't doing enough to ensure my car wasn't washed. He stated he would create laminated signs and give them to every service advisor to place in customers' cars that don't want it washed.
I take it in Thursday because they couldn't reproduce my problem until I was there. The service manager already has the signs and places it in my car. Since that time, I have noticed my assigned service advisor's additude toward me has gone from friendly and professional to border line rude. I never had a problem with him because I know it certainly wasn't HIS fault that the mechanics and/or porters fail to read, but he seemed to take offense that I brought to their attention that my car has been washed 5 times against my wishes. I drop off my loaner today and my service advisor still seems agitated that I am there, I even try to make converstation with him like I always do, but he is short in his replies.
I don't think I am asking too much not to want my car washed and I would say the service manager agrees its not too much to ask. However my service advisor seems to be agitated by the whole situation.
I would hate to stop going to Ed Voyles for service because overall they DO have excellent service. Also, my only other feasible option is Carland, but if the rudness continues, I will have no choice; it will make no since for me to drive 15 miles out of my way just to be treated rudely. Am I wrong?

wow i have a Honda dealership that i feel treats me better
(Honda of Marysville) they wash my car for free after a oil change plus i get this little card that gives me 10 free washes(it's a drive through car wash) .
and Honda of Marysville fairly new like 2004 they started about in that timeframe.
however they are the only Honda dealer i know will wash your car without you saying anything.
I used to go to Voss Honda but they won't wash for free after a oil change or any service.
