Don’t read more into it than necessary. It’s just not my preference, nor that of some others. (I’m my instance, I came from having an Accord sedan from each of the four preceding generations.)
While I don’t think it’ll be as successful in sales volume as the 9G, it’ll still sell well by virtue of being an Accord. It’ll just be the first Accord that I prefer to not have in my garage....and that’s OK. I think with the new exterior styling direction, Honda already knew that there would be some fallout from traditional buyers like me. A repositioning of the model to appeal to younger buyers (Millenials?) probably makes strategic sense for the brand.
I would be be somewhat disappointed if the 2G TLX mimics the 10G Accord’s styling cues. $.02

Well of course styling is always subjective, but I actually really like the front design on both the new Accord and Civic. I really fail to see what is so dramatically offensive about the chrome grill? We are certainly not talking about anything nearly as offensive as the beak on the 2009 TL's. Yeah, yeah, people hate on chrome (and chrome isn't my favorite either), but lest we forget that the 2013-2017 Accords had an awful lot of chrome on their grills as well. In my opinion, there is almost always knee-jerk negative reactions to brand new designs across the board, especially when the outgoing model is well loved and I think we are seeing at least a little bit of that here with the 2018 Accord, and I fully expect those negative opinions of its styling to soften as time goes by, like it usually does as a new model becomes established and familiar.

Pure White or Iron Blue?
Dealer closer to my house has a Pure White Autobahn just over $33k
Dealer closer to me office has an Iron Blue for a couple hundred more.
The only local GFG Autobahn is mid-$34k.

IMO, iron blue or great falls green. White is just blah on the Golf. If the green is worth an extra $1k to you then go for it, if not then the blue is still really nice looking.

Interesting, I personally have always thought white looked best on the GTI's (especially with the red accents). But asking for other's preferences on color is irrelevant since its your opinion that's the only one that means anything.

Well, if you look back to the OP, back in Feb, this was what I looked at first. But, I never found one that ticked all/most the boxes. Really wanted Lunar Blue, but there are very few Sports with the LED headlights & the halogens are . Closest I found was a Brilliant Blue with the Night Pkg (chrome delete), but we were too far apart on trade value.
Was really set on a GTI Autobahn when I happened across this one.
Have it on an extended test drive, currently.
Waiting on a buyer's order so I can get everything submitted to my C.U.
2015 Mercedes C300 Sport
Iridium Silver / Black Interior
CPO - 17k miles
Has the Premium 1 pkg, factory NAV, Burrmeister sound, larger infotainment screen, LED (non-adaptive, that I've been able to tell) headlights, 19" AMG wheels, pano roof.
Have had it over multiple road surfaces so far & am seeing none of the early MY15 build rattles, or poor panel gaps (this one is a April15 build).
Only 'complaint' on it, is the runflat Continentals that they put on it. Tirerack reviews have them rated pretty poorly in treadwear, some users only getting 10-15k out of them.
A few quickie shots from the parking lot at work.

You got it practically brand new. I love the color combo and it looks great inside and out. I love my parents' C300 Sport w/AMG package (I believe the same year). I've driven it a few times and it drives great, and shifting in Sport+ is fun and it feels pretty quick.
So you traded the F150 in? How long is the certified warranty for? Overall I think you did great and it should be a great car for you to enjoy.

Mercedes CPO adds 1 year to the factory warranty for unlimited miles.
So I'll have a full factory warranty through the end of 2020 (OE is 4yr/50k).
My wife took it for a spin last night & came back with a big grin. She wasn't a huge fan of the Iridium Silver in the 2 minutes she saw it on Saturday when I first took it for a drive with my kids, but came back from a drive & loved it.
It's definitely different adjusting to being so low after driving the F150 for 2 years.

Love silver. I initially wanted one but my wife persuaded me to get white.. not bad though. I think all colors of that car look great. I really like the blue color too.
Shit I just realized that praying mantis is riding a bike.

Lunar Blue was my top choice, but unobtanium equipped like this one. Most are Luxury trim or base Sport pkg.
Brilliant Blue would've worked too, but 2017s are higher priced.
Iridium Silver & Palladium Silver were my next option.
Not a huge fan of them in Black or White, and really wouldn't want a red car again, though I have seen a few driving around in Designo Cardinal Red, it does look amazing in the sun.
