Accord Suspension

Gotta bit of a problem and I hope one of you guys can help me with. I have an 03 Accord with a lowered suspension. I have the Neuspeed Supercup kit (lowereing springs and Koni yellows) as well as upgraded front and rear swaybars. Well I have a pop sound comming from my right fron side and I hear it going over bumps. So I take it to my local Acura dealer and after driving it and inspecting it they think it is the strut going bad. My question is has anyone else known of lowered suspension causing this. They think my best course of action is going back stock. I of course dont want to...so do I have any other options/fixes?

Oh man, I hope this doesn't turn into another broken koni shock thread. I remember someone on here actually experienced their strut breaking/snapping. Can't remember who it was though, I think it might have been a 2nd gen CL-S.

My suggestion would be take it to a tuner shop and have them look at it since they deal with lowered cars all the time, that is unless you can check it out yourself. Just try jacking the front of the car up and moving the tire up and down and try to locate where the noise is coming from. As far as getting a free koni replacement, unless you have the proof it was installed by a professional it's going to be hard to hold them responsible for their strut not holding it's own. Good luck.

Try the simple things:

1) Make sure the end links on your sway bars are tight
2) Grease the bushings that hold the swar bar to the frame of the car

I've had a similar "clunk" sound and checking those two things regularly has resolved it.
