96-00 Civic headliner issues, help

So I know next to nothing about upholstery. The headliner fabric at the front right above the windshield is started to peel away and look like crap. I googled around and didn't find any solutions that worked aside from getting the headliner reupholstered which range from $80 to over $100. It's a 97 Civic with 160k+ on it, and I just wanna spend under $20 to somehow get it stuck back onto the foam, without looking ghetto (so no thumbtacks)

Some tint/upholstery shop on some forum said to not use spray adhesive because it'll usually look worse. well I'm stubborn, cheap and just wanted to do something nice since it's my mom's commuter car and she spends a lot of time in it. Or should I not do anything?

Also, if anyone knows how to help preserve the fabric on the sun visors, it would be appreciated also. It keeps getting frayed and ripped up, exposing the foam underneath.
