'91 Cadillac Fleetwood - 24 miles!
I found this on eBay...never driven, titled or registered.
If I had the money I'd buy it.

Wow that thing is flawless.
Is it bad for a car to sit that long and not really be driven?

I wonder how much it will go for. I doubt a collector will have any interest in a '91 and I doubt anyone would want it for a daily. Those cars get like 15 mpg.

WOW.
Shoulda done that to my V. Unfortunately, I'd have to be a lot richer to afford a V just to keel in a storage container like that.

Personally, I feel the guy is a little on the weird side... I understand how things come up and plans change. BUT, he said the plan was to store it for atleast 3-5 years from the very beginning! Unless you own a large collection, that doesn't make sense (truthfully, I believe ALL cars are meant to drive
).
Don't get me wrong, I find a strange happiness when I see something of that age in such amazing condition... i'm just less impressed when it hasn't seen a mile of road.
Also, he didn't make his money back on that deal. Not by a longshot.
Storage: $100/month... for 18+ years
Travel Expenses, plane tickets, etc. to visit it every 6 months. He said he probably spent over $100K just caring for it.

What's weird is when I worked on a few similar cars they had much less orange peel, and it was original paint. That can seems to have a strangely massive amount of OP, almost looks like a respray but that seems impossible given its history. Oh well, I see resprays everywhere, it's like a weird body work paranoia.

I'm thinking that he probably really liked that body at the time hence the reason why he said he was storing it for the first few years. They may have been changing the body so he bought one of the last ones.

Taking inflation into factor, along with the costs associated with storing the car, he lost a lot of money. What an idiot.
This is the worst time to sell, too. Recession, GM's reputation in the crapper... people are fighting to put food the table, not buy an 18-year-old mint Caddy.
Good initiative (even then, depends on the perspective), but absolutely horrible execution and financial result.
