9 second stock block mustang coupe (VID)

i copied this from another forum.


It's a 306 with 10.5:1 compression, XE274HR comp cam nitrous, AFR 185, 30lb injectors Holley Systemax, NOS dry kit 225 Shot 2 stage, stock T-5, 3:55 gears, and 26x10 slicks. IN a 3000lb car with driver. STOCK COMPUTER

BTW car has over 30 passes with Stock T-5

supposedly stock block, crank, and rods....

Good god.

Nice soundtrack too. Look how much room is there to work in the Stang's engine compartment. Its still the same way even on the 04's.

The crazy thing is that is not that crazy of a combo, money wise. Just strong internals and alot of juice. I am surprised the T5 is still holding strong. Its rated for 300lb ft of tq. :o

OMG that stang is nasty, ive been in a 10sec car once, nova with an engine swap and some other stuff (200 shot on the track), sounded exactly like that stang. Ive never been that scared in a car in my life, the thing was fishtailing at 80 had a rollcage in it ect but either way....

The link works, it's just that either the site owner or whoever posted that movie didn't want to deal with the bandwidth spikes from all of us d/l'ing it... so it was replaced with a low res .jpg
