600 hp s2k!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

This Honda S2000 is in PERFECT CONDITION! With almost $50,000 in modifications and at a low price, this could be yours. This is the same car that's going to be cover paged and featured in Modified Magazine (November 2004). Also featured in the International Auto Salon and won 2nd place Honda. Previously showcased at the Dub, Funk Flex Car Show, SEMA, Hot Import Nights, and other import shows alike. The motor was dyno-tuned for 600 horsepower to run 10 seconds in a quarter mile, considering it the most powerful S2K, but was never fully tested. The most recent pics added were from April of this year. The dyno test, engine pictures, and pic of the hood saying 510 whp @ 18 psi (on pump gas) was from months ago. Much more work was added into the engine, so now the car is tuned at 20 psi and still has a lot more power that can be made. The air fuel is always tuned around 12:1:1 and the fuel supply is definitely enough to make 600 to the wheels on race gas. So yes, this S2 can run 10s. Currently owned by Alpha-Racing (#1 showcase/racing import team of the east coast). For such a prestigious convertible, you'll NEVER find one like it anywhere else for sale. Guaranteed! Great deal! Take advantage of my auction now!

Mileage on tachometer: 25,000 miles

You should only expect to get about 1/2 of the money you spent on mod for a car, so if it's true that they put 50K into it (plus the price of a used 2001 s2000 - $20K??) then the 45K sounds like a reasonable ballpark... Not the deal of the century, but not a bad price either...

Race car batteries don't really need to be that big anymore with the technology that's out there (unless you have a system in the car). It probably won't work that well on a cold New England winter morning, but it does take some weight off the front end (there are always compromises in a race car).

Doing something like this to a car and then selling it is dumb.

well it said it belonged to Alpha Racing , and this car probably has an ass load of sponsors alot of it may be free. If they were done advertising and such with it i guess they would sell it.

that kind of battery dies very quickly.

my friend has one in his subie he races....has to keep it on charge overnight or it drains. but damn they are small and light.
