they're only offering the 6mt in the Accord Coupe next gen right? not the sedan, so i wouldnt think anytime soon, but who knows. these honda guys just keep us guessing. its crazy.

 

I say there is a 70% chance the new 2004 will get it. BUt thats a guess.

 

i'd say more like a 32.265% chance. just a guess though.

 

i wish there was a smg or f1 style tranny in my car.

 

was at the acura dealer the other day and they mentioned that the TL-S 6 speed will be available in March2003.

 

Im guessin about a 42.697% chance. It is just a guess however.

 

I wouldn't really trust your dealer as they are typically wrong 85% of the time. The 2003 model is already out... the redesign is scheduled for the 2004 model, but isn't due out until mid to late 2003 as Acura is supposedly going back to their fall model year release schedule. Now, if they stay on their current schedule, then your dealer may be right. The only other thing is that all of the rumors and magazine articles are not mentioning the 6-speed as one of the improvments/additions.

Personally I'd wait until Acura announces something next year.
