Bullshit dealer pulled a bait and switch. Finally found the right color combo and options and they tried to play with the numbers.

The Internet manager was at fault according to the GM, and of course he wasn't around. They apologized though

I tend to agree with the SRT-8 or nothing guys. The Challenger is just not appealing to me at R/T level, at least not in comparison to the cheaper and much more capable Mustang 5.0...

I'll agree with the SRT8 being the way to go, but an R/T is not a dog. I guess it comes down to preference / looks. I know the Mustang is a much better power/weight ration and the price is great. But I could never buy one.

Well, it seats 4. I have to have room for 5. Second, I just never liked a Mustang. The old ones from the 60's looked OK. But I never warmed to them. They may be great now (sans the transmission issues), but it's a car I would just not buy. That's all.

Am I the only one who thinks the R/T version of Challenger is pretty damn hawt?

All that aside, they are great looking, and are apparently very comfortable.

The RT has MORE than enough torque and power. It is by no means a slouch of a car.
And I'll say it again...when you talk about the 08-10 SRT vs the 09-10 RT...The overall difference in cost is negligible to slight increase in engine performance. If you were buying new...it wasn't always worth the extra 5-10g for the SRT.
I bought the RT and for around 2g I'm in ballpark to a SRT power wise.
Now...the 11-12 RT vs 11-12 SRT is totally different...you're talking 100 hp/70 tq difference instead of 50 hp/0tq
Either way...just because the RT is the "smaller" V8 does not mean its a slow car. Thats like saying a 335 is too weak, so the only choice is a M3.

This is just not a true statement.

I'm saying that in the current muscle car arena (11-12) the RT consistently comes up short (by design - being Dodge's small V8) against the Camaro SS and the Mustang GT.
You have to jump to the 11 - 12 STR8 to compete against the Chevy and the Ford.

The current SRT8 gets more in to shelby territory...or at least it did until their most current announcement haha.

I can if needed, but I don't usually because it's more cumbersome, and cumbersome requires more time, and time is limited. I have before though. Most of the time I sold it to another dealer who exported it though.
But to answer your question, yes, I can, and I would, providing it's financially worth my while.
