Talking 4 New parts installed within 5 days!

So after all my contemplating doing the install of the Greddy Evo2, Richies Jpipe, Test Pipe & Precat Deletes....today it was done!!

Tools used (that i can remember):
10, 12, 14mm deep sockets and wrench
11/16 wrench
impact gun
jack & jackstands
gloves!
elbow grease
flathead screwdriver (to release some plastic clips on harnesses)

I got to my work around 815am. pulled car in and blasted our standing fan on it until my coworker showed up and he was ready to get to work. jacked up the car (both front & rear) and started to remove the oem exhaust from the rear. good 30 mins or so...got stuck on the stock 3rd cat for a little bit. bolts were pretty much rusted on there like a b*tch. soaked it in liquid wrench and still wouldnt budge. so we brought out the big boy gun (18volt impact cordless) and that got it off with no problem.

next was getting the first cat off. removed the plastic cover that is all held in by plastic clips that can be removed w/ flathead. we then unbolted the heatshields around the stock cats (10mm). cat wouldn't budge. then removed the passenger side fan (10mm/philips) off the radiator and pulled it out. wiggled it out from the top. then installed precat 1. antiseize around both threads on the o2's and bolted into the o2 sims on the bottom half of the precat. removed precat 1 that is held on by 4 12mm nuts

rear precat was a PITA. also held in by 4 12mm nuts. had to remove those heatshields as well. good 30 mins and i'm gettin frustrated. called up richie and he said he got his out from the bottom by taking out all the heatshield by it and that others have removed the intermediate shaft. i then started to remove the heatshield underneath. removed the intermediate COVER w/ 3 14mm bolts. then was able to wiggle out precat 2.

repeated same procedure for cat2 as cat1.

then installed jpipe next. test pipe. straight pipe for exhaust. then the y pipe for the mufflers. then the actual mufflers.

it roughly took 6 hours to get it all done but i was happy that we were able to do it and i saved myself a bunch of money. b/c if it took a shop the same amount of time i did, that wouldn't have been cheap!

so on to the pics!
