3G Replacement Ideas

Due to the epic design FAIL of the 4G TL (IMO) For those of you looking to get a new vehicle, what vehicles are everyone considering to replace their current TL?

Before I got my '09 TL, I looked at the '08 G35XS, '08 BMW 335i, and a '08Mercedes C350. As far as the BMW and Mercedes, to get the same amount of equipment as on the TL, you have spend at least $50K...so no-go for me. I was very close to getting a '08 G35XS....great value as the TL, but bad service at the dealership ruined it for me.

As far as a Lexus GS350 being an alternative (as some people have mentioned)......a GS350 AWD with NAV, Bluetooth, etc, will run you over $51K!

For me will probably be a G37 Sedan, also briefly looking at a Genesis, but too bad it has the Hyundai name on it. Also like the A4, but it is a little pricey for me.

That's going to depend on budget, desires and needs.

My 3G lease is up soon, so I've been looking at the standard competition- 4 door beginning lux/sport sedans from BMW, Cadillac, Infiniti, Jaguar, [insert every other auto maker's name here], etc. I am also looking at mid-lux/sport sedans since I can write off part of the (business-related) lease cost so that the $$ are not as restrictive.

Oh, and we have a minivan, so I am also looking at two-door coupes as well...

However, the other choice is to just buy the TL off lease because I haven't found a replacement that makes me yearn for it, yet. I still like the way the TL feels, it has been bulletproof, has reasonably low miles and I know the original owner.

The only car i'd trade my 3G in for is a E46 M3 Just need an 05' to break into the low to mid 20's..

As far as new cars go, there is nothing that really turns me on anymore. The ones that do are over 60k =/
