Depends what gen you are looking at. The current C55 power for power will get an M3 on the top end. And the last gen M5 was no comparo to the e55. Also the New M5 with its V-10 still is not much faster then an E55. I have even seen some tests where the E55 is faster. Also AMG is making bigger better motors for the E class, C class and other amg cars to compete with the new M5, and upcoming m3 v8. mind you, i am only speaking about 0-60 and 1/4 mile since the benzos arent really made for track duty.
I'm kinda going on the all out performance of them
