My lease was expiring in October and BMW is offering a 3 month pull ahead so I couldn't resist getting into something faster now! Plus I got a smoking a deal on it!
Also, can you define "smoking deal"? I've been looking at leasing one but the rates are pretty high...curious as to what you got. Just a request though and no is a perfectly acceptable answer as is a PM if you don't want to share publicly.
I was open to both M3 and M4 but I decided to go with the M4 for a number of reasons. The main reason is because BMW stopped M3 production for a few months and demand is much higher than supply. With the M4, supply is much higher and dealers are willing to deal on them. If I wanted a M3, it would have to be ordered vs just getting a M4 from dealer stock.

I got it for $3000 under invoice with no markup on money factor. I had been hunting and searching for a few months and put a few feelers out. This particular dealer called me out of the blue on Thursday and said they wanted to make a deal by end of this week. The finance manager was even surprised that the general manager agreed to this deal.
I would swap out those wheels though in a hurry. they just don't do it for me.
I just noticed the wheels. I have to admit I am kind of surprised that those are OEM BMW wheels. I don't know how I feel about them but I am surprised because I would never see those as being OEM BMW rims ever. Very un-BMW lol.
I didn't like the competition package wheels at first but it's starting to grow on me. I need to get a a 2nd set of wheels for winter and was thinking about going with the M4 CS wheels.

Oohh wow!! Those look SICK especially with the yellow calipers and massive rotors. By the way I'm sorry I did not mean to rain on your parade earlier. The current wheels are not ugly to me, I was just not thinking those would be OEM BM wheels. Not to say they are ugly or anything.

No worries, you didn't rain on my parade. Those yellow calipers are part of the carbon ceramic brakes package which I didn't get. Good for the track, not so good for a daily driver plus they're expensive to maintain.

I still think it's pretty badass that you're daily driving an M4! Carbon brakes or not!

That pic of the two cars together is a perfect representation of the joys of owning a black car, as well as the frustrations
Just noticed that as well. Ah black, both my favorite and most hated color. Sooo sharp when clean, so visbile when dirty. Damn.
Very nice, we went to dinner last night & the valet is 'sponsored' by the local BMW dealer. So they have a couple M3/M4 display cars there. on the M3 (have to have 4 doors), just not a fan on the wheels.
best deal ive seen is 799 with the down payment rolled in, plus taxes and acq. fee. Even that seemed kinda high. Where did you shake out, if you dont mind sharing?
NOOOOOO!!! You NEED AWD if it snows where you live!! If you drive RWD in the winter, you're guaranteed you'll die in a horrendous, fiery, catastrophic county and potentially state annihilating accident!!!
Said people who never invested in winter tires.
Seriously, the amount of misinformation out there is astonishing. Most of the purveyors have never even driven a RWD car
Took a couple more pics today after getting a clear bra installed few days ago and getting a few things coded...
Disable active sound (fake exhaust noise was coming through the speakers and was giving me a headache)
Enable brake force display (inner brake lights will flash during an emergency stop)
Also ordered the M Performance rear diffuser and should get here by Monday. It will look like this.
