I'm a former Canon shooter. I didn't shoot Nikon because I have more than an undergrad.

Yes Indian by heritage, midwestern by everything else. I love me some steak.

No doctorate, just a lowly masters.

Jeez...I hope you have siblings that didn't let your parents down!
Haha...anyway, Masters is great. I considered it...my company would help a lot but I'm not sold on anything business related that wouldn't just be a degree to get a degree.

Anyway...I'm a master black belt certified life experience person.

Yeah, it's been crazy. Last week matched my two weeks worth of paycheck back when I worked.

But yes, it's pretty much my primary business for now. I've been just trying to expand out to 15 different cars. I'm almost there. Then planning to do some different brand promotion monthly to push out the same cars.

Seriously, I get so many requests from out of State. A lot of them just ship out the panels to me. It's pretty cheap since it's usually light.

Finished this first GenCoupe of SWEIDIT!

I have like 4 sets of photoshoot to be processed. Damn it.

Probably cost prohibitive to ship the headliner from the Flex from Houston to LA....

Train me how to do it and I'll join the team (in the summer only).

If you had LR, you could set up an action to apply the same corrections to all photos in a series. Saves a shit ton of time.

Damn...I need to be smarter...although half the fun to me is giving a bunch of different looks in a set.

You can still do different looks if you want to but if not, you can apply the same stuff to a ton of images right from the get go. It really helps if you're doing HDR or panoramas to apply the same basic corrections prior to merging.

Nice work and great shots!

Just a random question: is the work you do on these cars reversible?

I'm going to do it in LA for a year at least before think about expanding or making a small boutique shop! But it's definitely a possibility.

Yeah! It's just fun working on different cars. haha Everyone has different taste, it's funny. Not a single person wants the same thing.

Thanks!

It is somewhat reversible (take off and clean up the adhesive), but I always tell my clients to just sell for cash+stock parts when selling their cars or something. It's a very easy sell. haha

Okay, I'm in. Steal that one right there and have it shipped to South Florida. Maybe behind an Applebees. I'll be waiting.

Thanks.

You don't stitch anything, such as steering wheels and shift boots, right?

Not yet, but I do have the plans for it. Just going to focus on the panels for now, but probably launch another sub-brand for the shifter, e-brake boots, and steering wheel late this year.

Yeah, she confirmed that she can easily do it. Just need to purchase another sewing machine tools and the actual threads for the automotive use.

Just trying to build up the brand for another six months first though. If everything checks out, should have a much larger referral pool and a running website by then. So I don't have to meet too many people.

You can still do it in Photoshop under the Actions window/tab. Just create a new action and hit the record button.

Thanks dude!

It was all my wife. She did my car when I asked if she can do anything for my silver plastic panels. She sweid wrapped everything like nothing about 2 years ago. Then people started asking me where I bought those. haha

About 4-6 months before I wanted to quit my corporate job, I was muling different options on what to do. Becoming a real estate agent was the main option and this was my side job to keep me busy since real estate is 100% commission.

So once I build this base for another 6 months, I'm going to hire someone to actual do the work and I'll just do marketing to bring in customers.

And I'm trying to start planning on the shifter and ebrake boot and some other car related goodies to sell... my wife said she can make anything haha

I found a Preset setting in Camera Raw in PS too. I think it's the same thing. It saves everything and can be applied to certain images.

Impressive work and it's awesome how you've built your brand and reputation this quickly. Congrats!

Easier in LR. You can transfer literally all corrections in two mouse clicks to multiple images and it does more than matching RAW presets as it is image specific. Right click > sync> ok.

Really handy for panoramas and HDR images.
