I don't think it's rice as long as it's functional. I think the Charger is looking awesome, kind of like a Trans Am racer.

^^^ which is a track car LOL...you will mostly never need the front splitter unless you are hitting it hard at the track or a mid engine or rear engine car....with a front engine heavy nose car, you will most likely not need a splitter....
BUTTTTT....I love it....looks SICK !!!
and if you cave in and want to sell it for dirt cheap, hit me up LOL

One of my club members has them on his front lip....when he was going for the record of modern mopar in the mojave mile...his stock one ripped off at 180mph.
He did eventually get the record at just over 200mph.

Got professionally painted engine covers coming in this weekend. Then on to the next mod which will be these height adjustable springs. Only height adjustable product made that works with the factory electronic dampening suspension system.

UA6, how has your overall experience been with the Charger SRT8, has it been reliable for you so far? Also, what kind of mileage have you seen, both stock and currently? I'm strongly considering the 300 SRT8 as my next vehicle, but I need to be able to assure my wife that it's a reasonably practical vehicle.
Oh, and I love the pics from the meet!

^ I was thinking the same but was waiting for UA6 to respond lol. It's definitely not a practical car in the mpg/efficiency sense, but it is in comfort/room.

Of course I was using the term "practical" loosely. I'm hoping for his real world numbers to be a little bit better than that. If I could average high teens with 60-70% highway, I could maybe sell the wife on it, but it would still be a stretch. 12-14 mpgs would be a deal breaker. I really dug myself a grave showing my wife the new Mazda6 and talking about how efficient it was and how much I liked the design.

I love it so far and its a blast to drive. I have a 2 year old so a 4 door is a must. There aren't that many 4 doors this size, with that much power and for this price. Hwy/city mpg is around 14/23. I rarely see 23 given the way I drive and the way you will if you decide to buy one. I don't take this car to the city at all...all freeway miles so on a good day I'll see around 17-18mpg. When I'm punching it its close to 13-14. My advice if you're that concerned about gas mileage just buy a hybrid. Good luck

Thanks for the advice! We have three boys, ranging from 5 mos to 9 years, so space is nice. I don't have them with me very often, but I'd like to be able to pick all three up if needed in my car. I want something that's fun to drive, and I'm very tempted by the SRT8s power and overall performance. As for the gas mileage concerns, my wife is the bean counter in my family, and I just need to convince her it's "not that bad."
