2010 M3 Sedan

Just a few pictures I took for a friend of mine who details cars on the side. The weather was not cooperating at all. Overcast and dreary

I don't care if it takes another 10 years from now till I can afford one....an M3 is gonna be my next car....yup.

I think I'm one of the few that likes the look of the sedan equally to that of the coupe.

Luv the pics ... the weather hilights/enhances the color of the M3 IMO ... I'd prefer a M3 coupe over the sedan any given day 'cuz the trunk looks chopped off in a sedan ..

Very nice pictures...... Good use of the light. Do you have UV haze filters on your lens? Which lens were you using?

I love this whole segment. Though the C63 and maybe IS-F are quicker in a straightlin, the M3 really is the benchmark. Hey Infiniti! Get that VK56VD into the G sedan...STAT!!!

weather not cooperating? overcast and dreary is probably ideal weather for car photography!

Haha, thanks! More like good use of Photoshop. All but the hood shots are HDR. Couldn't get good detail with just one shot.

No, I don't shoot with UV/haze filters. I used my trusty 16-35 f/2.8L for these pictures.

Agreed but this car was almost literary off the dealer's lot. The customer factory-ordered the car to avoid buying a car that has been molested by the "dealer prep" wash which does nothing but put swirls on the car. Despite this, the dealer prepped the car and caused an amazing amount of swirls in the paint. Luckily my friend was able to get the paint corrected to a finish that probably looks better then when it left the factory floor.

I love how everyone's reaction (including mine sometime) is "needs a drop". The truth is that the suspension in stock form is such a sweet balance of comfort and handling. I am really apprehensive about fvcking with that.

Once you go low, that gap is an eyesore! I think that with quality shocks and springs, or good coilovers, you can get the look, performance, and comfort.

I personally wouldn't fuck with the M3's suspension...and my current TL is slammed to the ground.

8-cylinders > 6-cylinders

It just happens to be a matter of fact

I completely agree. An inline six is about as good as it gets

I'd still take an V-8 over an I6.

There's just something about the grumble of a V8 that makes me .

True... The Audi's I was looking at that were V8 were unbelievably quick for such a big car and those engines sounded amazing, but it wasn't meant to be. That said, nothing wrong with a good I6, BMW does them and does them good.
