Whats funny about it?

Obviously the man has enough change to shell out to buy the car.

Looks like I read just fine. Perhaps youre just too uneducated to write?
and this is what I said as to what the difference in the interior is,

In my opinion, it still has the same quality interior as the regular, but the seats/door panel/trim make a difference in a better way.

Just that alone makes a huge difference once you sit in the car. The feel is different and better. I've never liked the interior in the regular challenger, but the srt has a "better feel" because of the difference in the interior.

there isnt much difference between the two. The Red RT that david posted looks exactly like MY SRT save the seats.

The suede inserts dont touch my body as I wear jeans.
The larger bolsters would make the biggest difference in feel.
May be not much difference just looking at it, but it feels a lot different once u sit in both and compare them.

I can see where i messed up by saying "interior is different" without elaborating, making the sentence longer

and SRT8 package makes the challenger a better/desirable car, other than that the regular ones....

Overall, no shit, Thats the whole point of having a higher more powerful model available.

But there is nothing wrong with the RT by any stretch, its a potent car in its own right, and the SE, well, it doesnt float my boat, but the 11 with new pentastar makes its better.

agreed.
my pops is about 56 years old.

I asked my gf this; Would my dad look better in the challenger or an M3 or similar car?
She said Challenger.

its also about needs and wants. I dont think my dad cares for European Luxury; hence his choice in the challenger.

I laughed because I didn't realize they wanted so much for the car. No I wouldn't pay that much for that car but at the same time where did you see me shitting on anyone who has or would.

Damn dude stop getting butt hurt everytime you feel like someone is making a negative comment about the car you drive. Which I actually wasn't.

I just noticed where the door handles are in those interior pics. Seems like it would be awkward to get to...kind of low (at least lower than any car I've ever had). Is it an issue, or did it take getting used to?

All dodges have handles below.

In my Ram, passengers were fucking confused. I would always hear them searching for it.

I actually find them easier and more intuitive. At least compared to my pathfinder.

Wow, I asked to make sure you thought the Challenger had a better interior because I couldn't believe it.

Then you insulted me. Classy.

you asked after I just wrote a detailed post saying that I liked the challenger better. there was no need for me to confirm my first hand experience.

get better reading comprehension skills.

Here is my opinion on this car. I think it looks good and the performance SRT's power is not too bad. But I think this car should have been built better over all, no cutting corners, no cheap metal, no cheap interior panels. Since its the new model of a much respected classic, i should have exceeded in quality, compared to other cars out there. I really think dodge just designed this car just so they can have something out there to increase the sales, just like any other car they have, like a charger, etc. A lot of compromises. No quality work put into it, except some in the SRT models.

I'm not saying this is a bad apple, i have the same opinion on the mustang and camaro. Havent worked on the new camaro yet, but just by looking at them, they look like they're built with quality.

If you look at the new Cherokee, its very nicely put together both interior and exterior, still the metal quality is the same as all the chrysler products, but looks great. The interior has a huge improvement in quality. I have yet to take one apart to see how it is inside.

Atleast this gives me hopes that the new model will be built much better.

oh and 6M/T ftw.
Good choice from your dad. I like American muscle, and especially the old school ones. Pretty much classics.

I think you'll like it when you get a chance to drive it.

No, after talking to my camera man, he suspected that they didnt want to tear up their drive trains....launching an Evo/sti taxes the hell out of the car.

Wow, can't believe I missed this thread.

Justnspace, the SRT-8 looks absolutely stunning. Even more because it's yellow.

He asked what year your TL was, not if you were impressed that a brand new car didn't have rattles.
