I like these cars a lot, but for some reason I like the SRT Charger better
When you get a chance to drive it it will not disappoint. Make sure you give us a quick write up afterward.

I just own a lightly modded lowly RT spd.
And so does deltaboxxx...search for our threads here in car talk.
My RT is my most favoritist thing ever.

Only car I like that Chrysler makes. Well, if I don't count the Viper.
I'm a GM guy but if I were to choose for looks I'd choose the Challenger over the Camaro anyday. I love the way it looks.

No, really it wouldnt. have the SMS's out there have some shitty fit and finish issues. I just saw one at a dealer with overspray, paint blobs, etc. And the SMS body kit is ![ugh](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/ugh.gif)
The only two things SMS does really well for the challenger are the supercharger and the suspension. And after dealing with them I wouldnt give them my business, very nice but no communication skills. But I love their suspension and Im happier than hell I got it for free.

The car is a bimmer, you dont get in it and go WOW look at the luxurious woods and animal pelts. But you dont get in and say wow what cheap duplo plastics either. The leather seats are great quality, the dash is a nice soft touch materials. And everything else is designed quite nice. They did a very good job trying to up the ante on the interior with this car.

Thanks sarlacc for clearing things up.
I knew the name of the color, but was trying to portray my disgust in the color.I imagined it to be a black or a dark grey. a bad ass, mean, dont fuck with me paint scheme.
With that being said, I can't wait to drive it. even with a poor choice in color.
He's going out of town this month, I hope he leaves the keys!
Sarlacc needs to invade Houston to take some awesome pictures.

I've sat in one and I agree about the craptastic plastic. But thats not what this car is about and the interior is a damn sight better looking than the Camaro's...

Most of the dash isnt plastic. The center console has a nice quality cover over it (whether you like the design is objective and in relation to the quality)
And the cheapest of the plastic runs down the side of the center console around the armrest. Which is the least visible and least touched area.

Detonator Yellow is not a bad color. Here is a pic a took of the RT classic version.
Have your remove the SRT hood stripes...I bet that helps. Im not fond of those on the yellow.

Got anything different to say?
Everyone bags on the interior of the car based on what they've seen in pictures or, really, the assumptions they make because the car is a Dodge.
Fact is they did this model right. And I'll bet money the 2011 interior revision will be even more in the right direction.
Yeah, I can list off names of plenty of other current dodges that have cheap plastic-y interior (caravan, nitro, etc) fact is, this particular model is not that.
Yeah, I'm biased because I own one...but I didnt buy the car for the interior accoutrements, I bought it for the exterior design and the pleasure of driving it. The fact that the interior is step up is a nice bonus and makes me like the car that much more.
If the car truly had a cheap plastic interior I would full well admit it.
Hell, I invite anyone to come down and sit in my Prius and then my Challenger and tell me which one has cheaper plastics and interior materials...

Challengers don't have a lot of style inside, but build quality and material quality isn't bad at all. The top of the dash is actually a little soft, even. Don't get that on some "imports".
And yellow is hot!

It can be a very easy car to drive. Get into and you want to be careful ,but its fairly forgiving so long as you leave the traction control on.
#37
yeah, I havent played with the traction control off. I'm scared.
its a fun ride tho.
Tomorrow, bright and early, I'll play some more.
I wish I could feel the G's.
I came from a dodge, so the interior feels like home. its nice for a muscle car. its manly. not plain. honestly, I think my TL is a clusterfuck full of buttons.

You havent even sat in one so shut the fuck up. The materials on the inside are actually very good.

My only nit pick with the Challenger is that they went retro on the outside but went with ho-hum on the inside. They invaded the Charger/300 factory parts bin on the interior and it's too dull for me, doesn't match the exterior...BUT I do like that car overall.

The 2011, should have a much refreshed interior.
#40
While it could use an updated interior, I like it for what it is. the gadgetry isnt what attracts me to the car.
its the 6.1 motor that does it for me.
the exhaust tone is pretty fucking sexy. Most bloggers/magazine's were right, I didnt even want to turn on the radio.
