Well the results just came in and they are interesting especially with the "Green engine of the year". Its nice to see that other manufactures are trying different methods to achieve "Green" results other than just Diesel or Hybrids.

Nice to see the VW/Audi 2.0 TSI engine in the finals for best new engine

 

I agree....It did win its category though.

I was never really impressed with some of the earlier models VW had but some of the stuff VAG has been coming out with in the past 5+ years has been pretty amazing.

The one comment that a journalist stated was that "VAG is the clear leader in four cylinder technology". Although i have the older version of the 2.0T I cant believe how good this engine is overall and at this time i would have to agree with his comments..
