The eclipse went down hill after they took off the turbo and the awd editions in 99

I think the SE and SL are separate trim levels.

Glad he found something he's happy with

There's no freakin' way I'm paying $31k for an Altima!

For 35K you can get the new WRX sedan and have money left over.

The Accord V6 EX-L w/Navi stickers at 31,145.....though I would not break the $30k for neither.

I went from an 02 Maxima to an 07 AV6 (HID to non-HID). I only missed HIDs for about a week before it became a 'no-biggie'.

As for sportshift my approach is simple: either get a manual tranny or just resolve yourself to letting the car "shift" itself. ("shift" in quotes as a reference to the Altima's CVT)

Only in Marketing would that make any sense.

Do they have a SE package for the SL. Might as well completely confuse the fuck out of everyone.

I hope you meant the STi ... Paying $35k for a WRX is galactically ridiculous.

I would get an Accord for $31k every time before buying an Altima.

What are Maximas now? $38k?

i know we all love Honda/Acura but if i went to the nissan forums, everyone would choose the Nissan vehicle over the Honda.. but i have a TL and my sister has a Maxima and i know from experience that both cars are great.. now that im used to my TL, i wouldnt trade it in for a maxima, but im sure if it would be the same the other way around too.. give the Alti some credit guys lol..

i dont think i can go back to non-HID, i love my Xenon's, they just make the whole front end look even greater at night!!

and he's not really a car/speed enthusiast, he doesnt care about the manual Trans. or modifying the car.. he just wants a nice car to drive around with a descent amount of power cuz once in a while we all start racing just for the heck of it when going places together and the sportshift makes it a little funner (and makes it seem like hes doing something important lol).. plus, having a manual car in ATL traffic is a fucking bitch!!

I would get neither for > $30k. (If was not able to get my 07 AV6 EX-L for several thousand less than the $29,400 sticker, I would not have purchased it.)
