Press release...

Enhance the performance of your 997 with the aid of Champion Motorsport's newly developed F77 Power Package. The twin ram air inlets of the carbon fiber airbox provides increased airflow to the engine, while the free flowing Tubi Style exhaust delivers a sound like none other. To further optimize power output, the factory ECU is recalibrated with GIAC performance software. Experience greater throttle response, increased drivability, and overall performance with the installation of our complete power package.

I for one don't dig the color nor the stripe. Visually it is a GT3, except for a few small details like the wiper, CF wing element and non-center exhaust. Just curious how the engine now stacks up against the GT3. My guess when the numbers are actually examined a GT3 is a lot better deal and will certainly hold its value better.

Tubi exhaust on a 911 Turbo = Sex.

I assume you know that is an NA car. The exhaust note of a 911 TT even the air cooled versions does nothing for me the NA engine screamin past 8K is another matter!

Over 21k posts and you don't know the difference between a 911 TT and NA car from the outside.... sad.

That my friend is a NA 997!!! It has Champions F77 power package.

I'm not taking any chances here, but isn't that a intercooler on the front?

So...I'm assuming it's a turbo?

You know, you're the second person today who's made the assumption that a high post count = all knowing.

I'm just going by what the thread title states and what appears to be heat exchanges up front.

Although now that I look at it he's right. It isn't a turbo!

The 997 turbo has air intakes on the rear fenders to feed the intercoolers.

My apologies.

So, maybe I was wrong, it's not a 911 Turbo, its a 977.

But my statement is still true, 911 Turbo with Tubi exhaust = Sex

Just to clear this up there is no 977 (guessing you mis-typed) it is a 997. However, the current TT is also a 997 that is the chassis code and covers all current 911 versions: C2, C2S, C4, C4S, the cab versions of the previous, the Targa, the TT and the GT3.

As MrSteve alluded to the main give away here is the lack of side/top air intakes on the rear quarter clip.

I must say I didn't read the full title just saw it was a Champion tuner car and went to the thread, had I read the title I could have cleared up the fact it wasn't a TT with my first post

First of all, it isn't a turbo my guess is 997 Carrera S. Second of all, I agree this is a tremendous looking car and the modifications are stylish...BUT owning one I just don't see the point of improving and spending more money on something that is almost perfect

P.S TUBI+ turbo does equal sex

It's just too loud for everyday use the stock exhaust does it for me.(For now)

None for the moment. I will sweep through my computer pictures to see if I have any. 2 of my cars(M5,997) are in winter garages and covered because of winter

P.S I took delivery of the 911 T in January and we had something like 20 cm of snow. I haven't even driven it yet. Too obsessed about that nasty salt on the streets...That thing cost me an arm and a leg but pictures will be up first thing when I get some.

Well, you need to host them somewhere first...so, try imageshack.us to do so.

After that, you can obtain the exact URL of the image from the hosted place and just insert the URL between the tags of [img][/img]...

It is the exact one. You might be having doubts because I didn't mention that this picture was taken in Sweden while I was on a trip to Germany with my wife for delivery. Please ask if you have more questions

It's a little complicated in details, so let me give you full story. My wife had wanted a BMW M5 since they came out in 2004. I finally bought one as a gift for her in late December of 2005 and we decided to do the trip and get delivery at BMW delivery center in Germany. Afterwards, ee knew there was a big event in Sweden including several other M5's so we decided to reach it before heading back to America. Car was driven from Germany to Sweden( I felt like Bonnie and CLyde hehe). The event was a blast and for pictures of it please don't mind asking I will give you a link. Then we headed back to America sweet america and BMW SWEDEN took care of importing and shipping our car to New york which took three months. Please ask if you have more questions. I hope this helped you a bit.

The color has been identified on another forum as "Fashion Gray" not sure if it is accurate or not.

Dailycommuta, are you on 6speedonline?

It is accurate but I believe it was offered on the previous generation which was the E39 M5. The name of the colour for the new generation is Sepang Bronze a superb color that sometimes seem to change depending on lighting conditions.

No, I'm not registered on 6speedonline yet.

oops... busted?

How come if this is your car it does NOT have export tags on it? The German temporary for export tag has a red stripe on the right instead of the blue Euro stripe on the left... ED cars get the export tag...

Plus why white out a temporary tag from another country, considering it is all over the web without it whited out already.

Good try with the white out though.
