If you're comparing the 3.5 SE vs. TSX, think about this: Which one would you rather have, a Nissan or an Acura?
I was shopping b/w these cars when i purchased my TSX:
Mazda3 (great car for its price, but cheap as hell)
LegacyGT (power, power, POWER, but still not as refined as TSX)
TSX (not as quick as Legacy, but can hold its own when the roads twist!)
I also thought of getting the 3.5 SE, but the maintenance cost was waay too much. I'd check the maintenance cost out for each car you're looking at, before buying the car.

If 0-60, sub 15 sec 1/4 mile times and AWD are your thing then get the Leg. If you prefer some luxury, better MPG, sharper handling and a great interior then the choice is easy.
I'm really liking the restyled Altima as well though, the interior is a big step up. Now only if those tail lights were'nt so :ghey:

Whoa beltfed, that's one freaky avatar... but then again I just hate clowns. ack to the point.
I don't know why everyone's ragging on the TSX so much? It's a great car, slower than other things out there, but a good car.
If you're all into speed then I say get a Evo?
I really don't feel Subaru interiors at all, after doing a test drive on the Maxima, Altima, WRX, Legacy, S40, RX8, and TL (I currently own a TSX) I'd have to say Acura Interiors are the most stylish, clean and simple interiors (plus the navi system is great on the car)
It's all personal preference in what you are looking for in a car. The Altima is a good car, get it IMO.

I say get a slightly used G35 sedan. More room than a TSX and faster than the Altima with a better interior. It'll also easily outhandle both. Other than that, I would also consider an IS300. Those are sweet although a little small but its torquey I6 is a great car in traffic. BTW, the IS300 is considered the safest car overall I believe by one of the publications due to its superior handling and crash test results....just some more options that you may want to consider.

Is is hard for some of you guys to realize that there is more to a car than acceleration?
I'm not suggesting TSX hands down. Go drive both cars and see what fits your needs better. Go out and read the two head to head reviews from Car and Driver and Road and Track for even more insight.
"Scobby all the way" because its faster is so And if speed isn't the only reason than what? The Scobby has Acceleration and AWD on the TSX and thats it. The TSX is better build, better looking (subjective), has a better interior, Better on gas, Arguably the better handler, is more practical (read the reviews) and will have have better reasle value in the end. So if its as cut and dry as "Scoobby all the way" then lets hear some reasoning behind that statement?
