That's all he had.. nothing else yet. Tires/Wheels was mentioned.. but that's it. Acura/Honda is being very tight lipped about this... so the fact that he has this much is impressive!

18 inch wheels from the factory is pretty big step!!!!! HOpefully this will be the begining of the Acura push to step up and hang with the GS and 5 series.

Sorry, but I think those are common accessories that you can find on any car... so are those colors...

any news on the engine and powertrain?

Yeah... here are some more reliable information

2004 Tl:

4 wheels
4 tires
a steering wheel
two front seats
headlights
a Honda built engine
a Honda built transy
a gas pedal
a brake pedal
possible clutch pedal

Sorry to be a jerk...

Okay so so far everything's the same as the current one, minus the Anthracite color. $5 says they're still 17" rims too. He really didn't tell you much of anything, jbean. =\

Btw runnerx, you're wrong about the wheel count - I guarantee it will be 5.

He actually didn't tell me anything.... I "borrowed' it from another site. And it will still be on 17" rims.. so I'm not going to take that bet. The 18" rims are listed as an accessory.

He got this information because he has received part numbers for them from Acura. He also indicated that the part numbers do not match anything they currently have on file for the TL... which means some parts are totally different then the current TL (obviously).

As for other info like engine etc... I highly doubt that a dealer would find much out before Acura makes an announcement. Even if they did they'd probably have to be careful about posting information before such an announcement.

Just be happy that you actually have some-what solid info. Even though it's not HP numbers... it's the first solid info we've had...
it only really indicates 3 new options (18" wheels, backup sensors and lip spoiler), but better then nothing.....

No, I know.. it is pretty annoying.... but they did the same thing with the CL. They announced it in January and it was available in March. I'm sure they'll do the same thing here... probably a summer announcement or so.....

I was at my dealer today in Sacramento and my sales guy told me that the owner just drove it and said it was amazing, who knows what that means but it's a good sign.

Juniorbean,
Nah, thanks for your information. Even as an accessory 18inch rims are fantastic!

Those options are weak. So sad that a 4-door family car gets a bodykit and the CL doesn't.

Who do you think made that decision? Fire them.

If that's the case, we need to see some spy pics. If it's driving around, someone should snap a pic of it sooner or later.
