My coworker has that car. He drives it like a granny and still gets no better than 16 MPG. His has also had nothing but problems since the day he bought it (power steering fluid leaks was the worst).

There really isn't any other car that competes against it though. $50k, AWD, 340 HP, available 6MT (don't buy this car with an auto!) is a unique combo. The M3 is sportier, but less practical.

Save some money... get a Volvo S60r. More reliable (2004's are good anyway), cheaper, and can be just as fast with only minor tweaking. Plus.. much better gas mileage.

That said, I LOVE the S4... just wish they didn't go the V8 route.... gas is too expensive for me to have a V8 as a daily driver...

Wow... OK... whole new ball game.

At that price I'd just go for it. It's practically new with only 16k miles. If I were you I'd have the title in hand by Friday!!

it takes about 10 quarts. it has a big reserve.
be careful if the car is being sold at that price with only 16K miles.
could be a headache waiting to happen.

Wow, 20K!

That's really cheap for that car.

In light of the cheap price, I'd get a warranty. My experience with Audis (my family has owned many) is that they are very pricey to repair when out of warranty. Also, watch the mod's and how you drive. A lot of the German manufacturers are looking to deny warranty claims these days if they have any evidence of "abuse." Though you have the Magnasson Moss Act to rely upon, it's a PITA when the dealer says no and you have to fight it out. How's your local Audi dealer? Go make friends with the service director before you buy it. That'll help a lot!
