2004 Acura Tl Vsa Problems
I have a 2004 Acura TL with Navi, I was driving on a sunny HOT day here in Florida, was on the interstate going about 70mph,, when the VSA light and Check engine light came on,, the car continued to drive but lunges forward every few seconds,, i had to keep driving till i could pull over and turn the car off,,, I turned the car off and back on,, the check engine light stayed on but the VSA went off like on normal start up,, turned the car on and off a few times and the check engine light finally turned off,,,so i am scared that the VSA is going out so when i turn the car on i turn the VSA off so that i dont have that dangerous situation happen again,,, but now the car lunges all the time,,, i mean if you keep an exact speed and exact gas you can feel it jumping,,, BUT when the car is in Cruise Control it has no sigh of lungeing,,, from reading , the VSA system applies pressure to your brakes at different wheels to stop skidding but i have also heard that if its failing it will randomly apply to the wheels,,, the lungeing makes sense if your driving and tap the brakes while the gas pedal is pressed,, does this make any sense or am i not explaining it correctly,, help,,, I want to take it in to Acura but after reading blogs after blogs,, all they do it reset the codes,, and say its fixed,, the car needs to actually explode before they will fix anything hELp
Welcome to the forums. You should post questions about your 04 TL in the 3G TL Forum. https://acurazine.com/forums/acurazine-1/
Sometimes a faulty wheel sensor will cause the VSA light to come on.
