I searched the Black Market, but no SC TL there. I don't know who's TL that is but it sure is nice. If that ain't a member here, with that set up I'm sure he's lurked the site at least a few times.

 

I love his comment that he has "babied" it since new. ANYONE who has done that many, or any, mods to a car, has not babied it. What would a fair price be you think?

 

it's definitely a clean car...i'm like shooter, i wonder how much he considers not selling himself short. he's crazy if he thinks he'll get all the money back for the mods.

Thats one seriously nice looking 3G.... my favorite set of RJ wheels, but its an auto...... meh. If it were a 6-speed in the exact same condition and mods, max I would bid for that is $23,000, but for that auto, $22,000. If he expects much more, forget it.

 

I can't stand the rear of the Ron Jon kit, no idea what they thinking with that slope.

Love those wheels though, too bad they're not the 3PC versions

 

Strike 1: It's an automatic. Too iffy if horsepower is significantly higher.

Strike 2: No dyno chart?? Why bother listing all the mods if you don't know or won't tell how much power it puts down?

Strike 3: Not understanding that a modifying a TL fetches little to no premium. In this case the mods may actually lower the value.

And regardless of what he says about the warranty, it's almost out AND I can guarantee my anal-retentive dealership would deny any drivetrain-related warranty repair.



It looks like a nice, well-kept car but he's about to learn a life lesson about pouring $13K in mods on a $33K MSRP vehicle.

As mentioned above, it's definitely not Rondy's car, but he may be able to shed some light on whose car it is...it looks pretty clean to me (minus the tranny)
