2003 Honda Accord Coupe

I've had my eye on an 03 Accord Coupe (V6) for a while now and I am thinking of dumping my CL in exchange for the Accord. Don't have the time/energy to run down to the USA every other week for gas and don't want to pay 4.55/gal in WA for gas anyways.

I know that I will be losing some of the features/comforts that the CL has to offer, but I want to know from 7th gen accord owners, both current and past, how the car is.

I did not do as much research on the CL as I should have, and am particularly interested in the Accord's reliability, engine/transmission problems and other little things that end up being money pits.

What I am looking at is a San Marino Red 2003 Honda Accord Coupe. Its got 205k KM and it has had the timing belt done recently. It doesn't have 20 grand worth of accidents this time

Go for it if you can. I had an 04 coupe v6, that I racked up 170K miles on. Great car, and as a Honda reliable. Didn't even get the timing belt done, although there was a small crack @ around 150K i forget the exact miles. Pretty quick car @ 240hp...My MPG wasn't too bad, low to mid 20's city.

I know this will offend some CL owners, but the CL really didn't much for me. The worst was how it creaked went it drove didn't know if it was coming from the dash area or the chassis itself. The V6 accord > CL in quality/durability...The CL did feel a little faster, probably is...But my coupe handled better.

Go with the accord.

We have a entire thread dedicated to the accord here. Many of us 7th gen owners. (myself being one of them)

You'll have much better results and answers there.

Ps. That's a very uncommon color for these cars and it's already got $1,400 of lip kit attached to it.
If its in good shape I'd say go for it.

Thanks for the link, I may have to make a deal where the current owner keeps the lip kit and sells it in order for him to go for the swap since my CL has ~ 30,000 km more than his Accord and has a small dent on the trunk.
