13th Annual Kiwanis Burbank Car Show

One of my car club's founding members is a sponsor of this show, so we go every year to show our support, though I was not in attendance last year.

I just took a sampling of photos to show what kinds of automobiles are brought to this event. Just stunning stuff.

Side note, one of our club presidents had been contacted by an Aussie couple a year ago who are car nuts (they have 4 holden HVS's all high performance models, 2 of them rare that take to shows) and they mentioned they were coming to LA and LOVED the Challengers and it would make their trip to ride in one. So, I swung by their hotel and picked them up and brought out them to the show. They were having a blast.

I left early to come hang with my family. But enjoy:

SWEEET!!!!!

So, all participants are given score cards and vote the cars in various classes. My club just called to inform my car won first place in the modern muscle category!!!

I noticed lots of people checking out my stripes before I left.
