have to check that out. What's weird is a friend had two 928's (1983 and 87) and both had spin-on filters and yet my brother's 2004 Cayenne Turbo V8 also has a cartridge oil filter.

It was kind of funny, he had to walk around with bodygards in highschool and he still does as an adult too. Always nice and polite and our rivalry was always friendly. I was surprised to hear the news. Haven't seen him or spoken to him in years since it happened.
One of the last times I saw him was him racing his own car. I saw two sets of headlights coming up on me hard. I was in the middle lane and they split left and right. On one side was the SLR and the other his Ferrari. David was driving the SLR and his cousin in his Ferrari. Light went green and they took off with the SLR in the lead and I never saw him again. Must be nice.
