1 used Citroen C4

A woman rented a Citroen C4 in Budapest. She drove from Budapest to Pecs. Approximately 220km. In 1st gear…… She thought it was automatic.

I wonder if she bought the "no it's not an automatic" insurance.

Bounce, bounce, bounce off the rev-limiter...

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe she depressed the clutch when starting thinking it was the brake, then jammed it into gear.

Maybe. Or maybe some guy took a couple of pics of a burned out Citroen and made up a story on his blog.

although that "looks" pretty messed up, is that actually what would happen to a car if it was to be driven at redline all day. I doubt it. I reckon it would probably spin a bearing, throw a rod, etc. which would not cause it to look like that!
