I'm expecting it.
I'm quite impressed with recent Infiniti interiors actually. Sat inside the M35/45 recently and would hafta say it's one of my faves right now for a car in that market segment.

looks a good bit different from this:
Perhaps they had to extend the front bumper out for impact safety reasons. The creases in between the headlights and grill look similar though.
and why didnt they mold the damn bumper

This will be my next car ... whether I buy it this July (as rumoured in the g35driver forums) remains to be seen. If I can score a supplier discount will definitely be the deciding factor (and my worries of a 1-year model gitters be secondary) ...
A 3.7L engine will help with hedging off the competition. Now ... the question is how 'modifiable' the engine will be to match the GT-R specs. Probably not a whole lot, I would suspect. Block might be the same but the tuning, forged pieces, etc will be a lot different.

I think its cool they bumped it to a 3.7 and changed the name to reflect it...gives the coupe more of an identity of its own (from the sedan).
I kind of dont like how BMW uses "328i" or 335i" for both the sedan and coupe models. They should have kept the "Ci" moniker to denote the coupe from sedan to make it more clear which car is which.
I had a feeling they would bump the power into the 320-330 range for the coupe...

I Had High Hopes for this car, but after seeing the new pictures, its disappointed me like the 07 G35 Sedan has, At First glance the car looks like the original Generation, and the same thing seems like it is gonna happen for the Coupe, and the Design is getting old for me, so I am Really interested in the 2008 Supra Instead, Does anyone have any information on the Supra and also know any other cars to consider?

If you are looking for radical changes to be done to the 2nd generation Coupe, you will definitely be disappointed. There is no way that Infiniti will impose radical changes to a car that has been such a huge success and is accounting for over half of their total sales. Instead, they choose to implement subtle, yet evolutionary changes....which is the smart thing to do IMO. When the car is Infiniti's bread and butter, they are not going to stray too far from what works. Just my

what kind of impact do you guys think the new coupe will have on the value of the current ones? infiniti's seem to hold their value pretty well.. not sure if that statement will hold after a redesign

All vehicles will depreciate at a certain rate every year, we all know that. But from what I can tell, a new generation of a vehicle will slightly increase the depreciation rate of the previous generation.

I was following the prices of the 03s during my wait for my 07 and there definitely was a sharper than normal decrease.

I was talking about the spy shot guys, http://www.leftlanenews.com/spied-in...g37-coupe.html
The picture tells a lot, like the basic shape, lots of people on G35 Driver have noticed how it isnt changed much over the current G35, I am sure it will be different, but I hope its not like the sedan, where they made it so similar to the current Gen

Eventually Infiniti will reach a point where previous gen models won't have sharp declines in resale when a new model comes out. I don't think they are there yet, though. Like Shane mentioned my '03 G35 sedan took a nose dive in resale right around October, when the '07s were hitting the road.

Definitely not from what I saw even recently. The 2nd Gens are fetching high value. For example, I saw several '03 TL models with good miles 40-50K, going for $20K You can find a 2004 TL with probably 60-70K miles on it for around $23-24K. I have seen both on the internet while I was car shopping recently. The car I just bought is an '03 TL-S and it booked out for over $20K.
--Now back on topic, I am anxious to see the G37 in the "flesh" and also get the engine specs.
