I'm positive I've seen this before, maybe on another forum though. I've NEVER been a fan of shorty exhausts, and that thing needs a fender eliminator BADLY! Horrible color scheme too, but I bet it hauls ass. I wouldn't kick it out of bed.

The shorty exhaust = ftl. the turn signals on the mirror = ftl.. that's what you put on Goldwings. The general look of it is a step backwards, imo.

I don't mind the shorty. I definitely think it shouldve stayed under seat, but I like how it's a bit different and it is a side exhaust that actually looks made for the bike.

I also like the turn signals on the mirror. It's better than just stick out of the front fairings, and in some states the flush mounted turn signals are illegal, so I think it's a better choice.

It definitely needs to clean up the rear fender. Would look hot w/ a fender eliminator. That thing looks like 3 feet long. I'm thinking there must be some new legislation forcing them into that huge fender and all those huge reflectors, and might've even made it hard to put the exhaust back there too. I need some shots from a different angle too.

A modern liter bike will knock you teeth out with a grin. As for the new CBR, as long as its slimmer and lighter than the outgoing 07 model I'll like it, it was so wide and fat at the tank.

The best Honda bike out is the 07 CBR600RR, perfect size, weight and ergomanics.

Honda dropped the ball again...those mirrors are horrible.
I can live with the shorty exhaust...although I prefer under-the-seat.

I know nothing about bikes but isn't going away from the under the seat exhaust kind of a step back?

You guys are crazy, this bike rocks. The reason they did away with the undertail exhaust is weight, plain and simple. I'm hearing this bike is maybe a little lighter than the 600RR, which would be amazing. I've seen a couple of pshops with the license plate bracket removed and it's a night and day difference. Also, supposedly there's a little storage under the pass. seat which was non-existent with the undertail exhaust. This is a bike that will look much better in person IMO.

We need to see more angles of it, I'll give you that much. And, if its a weight issue, that's great. But I would take an '07 over this, that's all Im saying. Also, I'm not Valentino Rossi, I don't plan to race any bikes - to me the way a bike looks is just as important as the various peculiar performance aspects, because I know I won't even come close to any of these bikes potential on the street, let alone a racecourse. I want it to handle and perform well so I can control it well - but I also want it to look good. Now don't get me wrong, I don't ride. LOL!!!!!!!!

Here you go:

that rear swing-arm + undertail exhaust = ftw. first pic is all about paint scheme. The Repsol version is nice too.

September 28th is the day Honda officially announces the bike. It's crazy this year as Kawasaki has issued a few photos of the new ZX10R but announced nothing in the way of specs. My guess is that these two bikes will battle for litre bike of the year awards.

word is this is will be the most powerful and lightest liter bikes available to date. i sure in hell would not kick it out of bed, but and under tail kit and maybe change up the exhaust and it would be killer.
