btw, i dont blame ya for being bitter about your old car. I would be annoyed too if it happened to me. I just wouldnt go out of my way to make the whole brand look bad.

yep it does say know, who knows if its a mistake or a typo on the others. We will find out later I am sure.

Reading the scenario, I would think that the chance of injury would be slim unless they pulled out in front of a fast moving car and this happened. We really don't know all the fact and it's stupid for everyone to jump all over this. It could have been that the Toyota tech didn't install the VB correctly.

Common sense tells me that is a yes or no question only on the form that is filled out and its automatically puts that in the body of the text.

Possibly, but ours did it as well. It's a long delay before it kicks in with no power.

you think the the nhtsa web form automatically wrote a plain-english description of the incident based on the yes-or-no response to the crash question, but the fact that this same web form wasn't sophisticated enough to include any mention of the non-zero deaths and injuries fields in the body of the text doesn't strike you as odd?

Dunno, who cares really. I don't own the car anymore (glad). Hope no one got hurt that is all I care about.
