If they end up putting that engine in the new SLK....good gawd almighty, hello C6 killer

The only thing I like about the new CLK is the rear windows drop. Otherwise I think the previous Gen CLK looks way better inside and out.

You must have some good smoke down there in Atlanta! The last gen looks fat. And I couldn't stand those ones with the wheels that looked like hubcaps.

Yeah..... this one:

Those wheels are :ghey:. Not feeling the two-door-E-class styling, either...

i think lex means more like this, not the gay 320...

and i agree, except for the powertrain i think the new class looks to small, e class styling should be a step up from c right?

i figure, they could keep it below the cl/sl55 just like they keep the e55 below the s55. it just seems like theyre content to keep it lower on the totem pole. this plus the new style that im not crazy about makes me feel like mb is cheapening the clk. im pretty sure that this class started as the natural progression of the E coupe, which explains why the first clk looked like the last e class, but with the engine upgrade in the e and the more agressive styling in the e class sport packs, it looks like theyre moving the clk down to be more like an up scale c class coupe than a serious e class price range coupe. follow me?

thats a hard concept to swallow though of downgrading a car (in any respect) in the high 50-60k range... but yes you seem to be on track
