I've never seen so much clamour of misinformation in my life, especially basing it all on blurry half-assed pics.

"IS THAT SINGLE EXHAUST?"

No you idiot, but from that angle in that one picture it might look like it. Try looking at the first pic he posted where you can blurrily see two exhaust tips.

And none of the pics are clear enough to prove whether or not it still has the "line down the sides" so why bother claiming one way or the other, unless you were the guy who took the pics and could possibly answer that.

It was near Honda/Acura headquarters in CA. You don't think they have a FLEET of these cars being tested ?

I was just about the say something similar. The pics are so out of focus that you really can't see much of anything. Not to rip the picture guy's effort or anything, because he meant well and all. Just not anything to get excited over, IMO.

they're manufacturer plates, companies test their own cars before releasing them. his title pretty much sums it up " My pics suck ass"

It has side mirrors...but then again did anyone really think that it was going to come with camera mirrors?
I'm sure no Brembos either.
Hard to tell how good it looks from those blurry photos.

man what a harsh group..if you looked i edited my post just after i posted it saying i looked back and realized it had the dual exhaust. The guy took those pictures with his cameraphone which is all he had....no need to flame him or more importantly me for not being able to make out the dual exhaust from those blurry ass pics. I think we all would liek to see some good pics of the prodcution tl.

Yeah fellas, calm down! Give the guy credit for trying! Shit, even if I had a good camera I wouldn't get in my car to follow that TL if I saw it. Props to that cat for trying to hook us all up.

Sheesh guys ... SORRY for taking up your 15 seconds to click on the link and see some live (albeit blurry) shots of the '04 TL.

I'll make sure not to share scoop with my old CL web site buddies next time

Oh well ... hopefully some of you liked it

How can you tell from these pics? They are so blurry and out of focus it's hard to tell how it really looks.

But thanks for posting the link. I commend the guy for trying

Nice job to the guy that got the pics....

To the person asking about the Type S, there are rumors there will be NO type s version....and if there is, prob not for a year after the initial release...

As of now the word is there will only be one version and it will have the best engine and all the features in it. Probably again with the optional Navigation, spoiler, underbody kit, etc. In the coming months we'll see for sure, but that's the strongest rumor. And it'll be around $34-35k, as expected.

When you're ready to test drive one gimme a shout. I'll do my best to get you a good price as well, but most likely it will hold MSRP for a couple years if the demand is as expected (like the last TL, the MDX, etc). I guarantee you I can match the price at any other dealer in the area, and I'll do my best to beat it or at least make it the best deal in some manner.

seems foolish for acura to start only offering one engine in their cars, options mean more sales. also kinda annoying how they have this trend of releasing different versions of one car years after the initial release. if you're going to launch a new model, have all the variations ready for production at that launch date.

Is Acura really doing anything much different here? I mean do you want BMW to synchronize its 325 and 330 launches? See what I mean?

As for the "few options" ... welcome to how Acura gets its prices down That is how they made a name for undercutting the competition on pricing ...

Why? Has it failed them in the past??

No - but offering a NON Type S seems to not be in the cards. Think of the TSX and the TL as the Type S and no more "base" model. Acura is going for sports sedan image so you can't have "base" models.

That is my take at what they are doing. I also heard from a pretty reliable source that RSX-R is coming ... and TSX-R is more than 50% likely. I like where Acura is going ! :great: Leave the base models in the Honda lineup is what I say ... nothing wrong with that at all.
