04 TL Needed New Tires
Until last week there wasn't much rain and the roads were dry...so when the storms started rolling in I realized the TL needed new tires as the car was all over the place. Costco was running a decent sale so put in the order a little over a week ago but I guess holiday shipping added to the delivery delay. In the meantime I needed to get around so finally decided to pull the trigger on this:
There was some sunshine yesterday but I haven't had a chance to clean it up or make it look nice. The yellow seat belts are...interesting...and not my favorite but apparently it comes with the polestar package. I'd prefer regular black ones but don't want to tear into the car to replace them at the moment.
It's fun to drive and the electric only mode is great for running around town, etc. Incredibly comfortable but I was coming from a nearly 20 year old car so I think anything new would be a night and day difference. Still keeping the TL for commute into SF / East Bay as no one wants to break into it anymore given its sorry appearance.

Thank you. Volvo was never really on my radar but whatever refresh was done with the models caught my eye. I was initially looking at the plug in Audi's but it appears Audi abandoned that option in the sedans (I liked the A8). The S60 is pretty much exactly the same size as the TL, which I appreciated. I briefly considered the S90 but I didn't think it looked as good and was much larger. I still have the S6 if I need to drive a boat around.

Thank you. I'm incredibly happy with everything so far. Somewhat of a learning curve with the technology coming from a 2004. Having a searchable owners manual is more convenient than I expected.

Beautiful Volvo! Congrats A blue V90 T6 R Design caught my eyes the other day. Absolutely love the current Volvo styling and the performance is no joke, especially the Polestar.
