From 02 Acura CL-S to 02 MB CLK 320
Hey guys,
I think I am going to make the big leap from a 2002 CL type S to a 2002 CLK 320
for only a couple grand more. (Same miles and condition)
What do you guys think?
any comments on the CLK, I looked at a few Benz forums and there hasn't been too many issues with the CLK's...

Um...I can think of so many reasons as to why your statement is out to orbit, bub...
That's like calling an Aston Martin a Ford.

Personally, I'd stick to the CL-S...But, I'm biased...

Oh, and you can throw the AMG, Brabus, and Renntech models in too if you wish...

Performance-wise, going from a CL-S to a CLK320 is a slight downgrade... less power more weight but I guess you do get rwd but doesn't really matter since with so little power on hand, you won't be doing any appreciable throttle steering when driving for kicks. Looks-wise, moving to the CLK is huge upgrade. I've always liked the styling of the W208 CLK, much more so than the current W209 which in my opinion looks a little prissy compared to the old. The W208 is more muscular in form and one of the best designs from MB in the last decade. You also get a superior interior, fit and finish, and superior overall build quality (I know some of you die-hard acura folks will call me out on this). Even without the AMG cladding, the W208 CLK is a sharp looking car and I must say, has aged well over time, unlike the CL-S and previous TL's which now look like boats compared to the styling direction the new Acuras are headed for. I say get the CLK, you will be happy with it. I'm biased, so what.
btw, there are supercharger kits readily available for the 320 in case you ever feel the need for more lovin'

You'll be happy you did.
Kinda like getting a CLS w/ six speed & Navi as opposed to an auto w/o Navi.
