(But the R6 will do low-mid 10's @ close to 130 mph at the strip, when setup properly.) Now, I don't have 100% conclusive evidence on this - but I think the Z06 will beat the R6 from 0-150 - by a long shot. I couldn't find times for the R6 but the Z06 will do it in 17.5 sec. By comparison, a '05 Triumph Daytona 650 does the 1/4 in 10.94 @ 129 and 0-150 in 26 sec. '05 ZX-6RR does the 1/4 in 11.2 @ 129 and 0-150 in 26.1 sec <- both bikes comparable to the R6. I looked for a while on Google but came up empty. If anyone knows what the R6 will do 0-150 in, please, enlighten us.

thats given that the rider can / have the balls to launch the bike hard.

well sure. is that the R6's fault?
serious though, call me a mag-racer but I don't have a bike so what am I going to base my times on. Same thing I'm gonna base my times on for cars I don't have. The Z06 did 11.5 @ 127 at the hands of a pro driver, what should I say, its actually a 12-second car? :0
btw "normal" ppl have got mid-high 10's on the R6.
no I don't know Brian.

Its in the new Motor Trend magazine. Its a Lingenfelter C6. They are doin compare of tuner cars vs a stock C6 Z06.
They test a Hennessey Viper, Accufab Ford GT, Lingenfelter C6, Livernois Mustang, MTI Pontiac GTO, and a stock C6 Z06
Oh yeah. They race all these cars on a new navel base in California. 3 miles
They also clock fighter jets. Close to 11 billion dollars worth of jets, etc, on the base.
