Haha, only the S is mine, the rest is my inlaws', I have the car stored in their vacation home garage for the winter. Their home is in Northern WI, where we do all our snowmobiling (Eagle River area). Although at some point we plan to do an IL-I-UP snowmobile trip that should be a blast.

We were up there President's Day and only went out a little (Three Lakes trails) and they were kinda shitty, but at least open. Saw some sleds through the ice on the Three Lakes FB page though

Yea, a buddy an i went up to Minocqua a few weeks back on a thursday night. By mid day sat when we stopped at a few bars to eat and warm up and ask what trails were in good shape yet, a few of the clubs were talking about shutting the trails down that night.
Indeed, this is the NX200t. There is a F-Sport variant available, along with a hybrid (NX300h), but this is the "base" trim.
I'm not a SUV person but I like it. The ride is smooth and the seats are supportive and comfortable. Rear seat room is impressive considering its size and the rear cargo area is decent. The turbo charged engine is a blast. 0-60 is still in the mid-8 second range due to the weight, but that engine in the 2016 IS will be an absolute hoot. The Generation 8 navigation system is gorgeous with some buildings rendered in 3D. Bluetooth works flawlessly, there is leather everywhere, power rear hatch is a nice feature, and I really like the styling. I prefer the F-Sport compared to this trim, but I think the overall shape really catches the eye. I've had a few people give me weird looks at red lights while they try to figure out what the hell I'm driving
There are some things that I don't like. The screen is fixed and is at a weird angle, rear visibility is horrid due to the rear headrests and small rear window, the new Remote Touch (Lexus' MMI) isn't exactly easy to use while driving, the center console is a bit wide and my knee constantly makes contact with it, steering is a bit vauge, and the subwoofer is located on the rear hatch which causes it to rattle; you can hear it inside and out.
It's not perfect, but it's very good. I would probably get used to the negatives I've pointed out, but these are my initial thoughts. My fiancee really likes it, but we can't justify the $40k+ for one. I'm averaging just under 25mpg; 60% highway, 40% city.
As soon as we get one at the dealership, they sell within a week. We have more RC350s and RCFs on the lot than NXs. Your mom will be hard pressed to pay less than sticker for one.

The interior is great. I don't mind most of the exterior, but I do not like the black wheel arches and the jacked-up off-road 4x4 suspension. Does it really need to be that high?
^ I agree the black wheel arch trim needs to go. I think it gives it an optical illusion of being raised up higher than it actually is, which is a bad thing IMO.
