I can't take photos as nice as many of you but here's a quick pic after I dropped off Little Cha on his first day of school...washed the Hyundai Optima yesterday.

 

 

Thanks, fun day on the trail. Banged and scratched up my skids, somehow popped the bushing off of my driver side sway bar link. Noticed a clicking noise as I was driving out of the park. Thankfully I was able to press it back in and drive home, but I have a popping noise when I make turns. Need to figure out the cause.

 

Well sounds like you didn't make out too bad then. Nothing major broken. Good think you were able to pop it back in though.

 

A 996 and luckily with the Mezger engine.

 

The silhouetted front fascia of this looks like a weird robotic bird... or maybe a mouser from TMNT. It's all I can think of now when I see it.

Winter is nearly here...so, got the snow shoes on...

 

 

I don't know where you live, but driving a nice car in the winter has got to hurt. I probably could not sleep nights.

You get used to it. I mean, I was in Chicago before I ended up here. So, it's nothing really that different albeit...longer.

The biggest PiTA is the gravel and rocks that fly up on the roads due to the stuff they use to deice as well as probably from concrete/pavement cracking (i.e. potholes). I go through a windshield about once a year...the Audi had to have it replaced very very early in ownership.

 

We had snow last week. It didn't stick around much and before that, some of the neighboring cities all had whiteouts.

 

Nope, Houston gets snow about every 25-30 years, so I'm ok with that.

 

A windshield once a year!?

 

Same thing in AZ...so many rocks on the road from the desert and people's "desert" landscaping.

 

Just got a cracked windshield in my Honda last night This will be my second in 4 years.

 

That's why Canadia is socialist.
